Frequently Asked Questions
I’m new here—where should I start?
Download the Glofox app (Apple, Android) to get started. Through the app, you can create your profile, book classes and private sessions, purchase packages or memberships, and manage cancellations or reschedules. It’s also where you’ll find workshops and special events.
I’m new to Pilates—what’s the best way to begin?
If you’re brand new to Pilates, managing pain or injury, or feeling unsure about jumping into a group class, we recommend starting with our Intro Private Offer.
This includes 2 private sessions and 2 group classes for $169, allowing you to learn the fundamentals, get comfortable on the reformer, and build confidence before joining regular classes. Reach out to us to schedule your private sessions.
I’m new but want to join a group class—what should I take first?
We suggest starting with our Fundamental Reformer class. Please arrive 10 minutes early to your very first class so we can introduce you to the equipment and answer any questions or concerns.
Why choose a private session?
Private sessions offer individualized attention and fully customized programming based on your goals, strengths, limitations, or injuries. Sessions may include work on the Reformer, Cadillac, and Chair, and are ideal for beginners, injury rehabilitation, or anyone wanting deeper, personalized support.
What to Expect
What should I wear?
Wear comfortable workout clothes that allow you to move freely. Dress to your personal comfort level. Classes are done barefoot on the reformer, but grip socks are welcome and recommended.
What should I bring?
Bring a water bottle and a towel if you’d like. We have small cubbies for personal belongings, as well as a restroom/changing area. Please note, there is no shower on site.
How long are classes?
Group classes are 50 minutes, unless otherwise noted. Private sessions are 55 minutes.
How many days a week should I come?
This is completely up to you and your lifestyle. Some clients come once a week, while others attend multiple times per week. We offer flexible class packs and membership options so you can choose what best supports your movement practice.
What is your cancellation policy?
Because class sizes are limited and waitlists are common, we maintain a firm cancellation policy.
Group reformer classes must be canceled at least 12 hours before class start time. Late cancellations will result in the class being deducted from your package or membership.
Private sessions require 24 hours‘ notice to cancel or reschedule. Sessions canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice will be charged in full.
Pilates & Your Body
How will Pilates help me?
Pilates strengthens your core and whole body while improving balance, coordination, posture, and body awareness—benefits that carry over into everyday life and other movement practices.
Can seniors do Pilates?
Absolutely. We proudly welcome a large senior clientele and offer modifications to support strength, mobility, and confidence at every stage of life.
I’m pregnant—can I join class?
Yes! We offer a MAMA class, a supportive reformer class designed for pregnancy and postpartum.
If you have no complications and feel comfortable, you’re also welcome to attend other appropriate classes. Our instructors are trained to offer pregnancy-safe modifications and follow prenatal guidelines.
I’m injured—can I still attend class?
Depending on your injury or condition, clearance from your physician may be required for group classes. While our instructors can provide many modifications, some conditions are best supported through private sessions, particularly with one of our clinical teachers.
Please contact us so we can help determine the safest and most supportive option for you.
Do I need to tell my instructor about injuries or concerns?
Yes, please let your instructor know before class if there’s anything we should be aware of. Notes can be securely stored in our system so we can offer appropriate options. We respect your privacy and encourage open communication.
